What we collect

When you contact us: your name, email address, area of interest, optional ZIP code and your message. When you join our list: your email address and your consent. When you register for a program: your name, contact details, ticket type, optional ZIP code, and any access needs you choose to tell us. Surveys: after programs we invite optional feedback. You can answer anonymously. Payments for tickets or contributions will be processed by a secure third-party payment processor; we don’t store card numbers.

How we use it

To respond to you, run programs, send updates you asked for, improve our programs, and report to supporters and funders in aggregate. For example, “40% of attendees came from ZIP codes in Charlotte County.” We never report individual survey responses with names.

What we don’t do

We don’t sell, rent or trade your personal information. We don’t share it with third parties except the service providers who help us operate (such as our email, ticketing and website hosting providers), and only for that purpose, or where required by law.

Email

Every email includes an unsubscribe link and our mailing address. Unsubscribing takes effect promptly, and we’ll still reply to messages you send us.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses only the cookies needed for it to work and does not use advertising trackers.

Children

Our website isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their personal information online. A parent or guardian registers anyone under 18 for youth programs.

Photographs

See our photography policy. Ask us to remove a photo of you at any time.

Keeping and deleting information

We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes above and our legal and accounting obligations. You can ask to see, correct or delete your information by emailing krich@listeningprojectfl.org.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll post the new version here with its effective date.
